The Value of a Professional Wedding Team: Why You Need a Planner, Photographer, Florist & More

It’s no secret that planning a wedding involves a lot of steps, from choosing vendors, creating a menu, arranging the seating chart, and sending out the invitations — plus countless other tasks!

We believe the best way to manage all of this is with a team of professionals helping you along the way. Not only will they help you to create the wedding of your dreams, you will save loads of time, stress, and even money, when you work with the pros.

Let’s go over a few people you’ll want to have on your wedding team and the value they’ll bring.

Planner

One of the most important people you can bring on board is a planner. The wedding planner will help you to set and manage a budget, develop a timeline, and organize all the moving pieces of the wedding. They are also instrumental in putting together the right team of professionals for your wedding.

Their experience of planning many weddings takes the guesswork out of your special day. They know exactly what to do — and when to do it — so that your vision is brought to life without a hitch and lets you focus on just enjoying your special day.

Photographer

Your wedding photos are a tangible memory of your big day. By hiring a photographer, you can be sure that every special moment, and even some fun candid ones, is captured. Then, having that gallery of beautiful images delivered to you to look back on forever is such a joy!

We’ve worked alongside some wonderful photographers on the weddings we’ve designed florals for.

Floral Designer

We’re biased, but this is our favorite part! By working with a floral designer like Sweet Earth Co., you can be sure that you’re getting in-season, fresh, and local blooms that are sustainably grown, along with eco-friendly use and sorucing of mechanics, materials and supplies.

A floral designer will help you create an overall theme and style for your event and create stunning arrangements that compliment the venue, color palette, and the wedding attire.

Here are some of our favorite arrangements we’ve had the privilege of designing.
