Our Story

We believe that being around flowers and connecting with nature have the power to bring joy, inspiration, and healing. That’s why we do what we do, and we love it!

WELCOME TO WHERE WE CREATE

Our idyllic 1800 farmhouse property in historic Pound Ridge, New York has been an inspiration to the work we do at Sweet Earth Co. Our fields, barn, and design studio are teeming with life, energy, and creativity.

Whether you’ve arrived here for fresh local flowers, wedding floristry, garden design services, seasonal container installation, hands-on workshops, or digital resources, we’ve got it all — and then some.

We’re so glad you’re here.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

Hi, my name is Xenia. I am lead designer and farmer-florist at Sweet Earth Co. Most wouldn’t have imagined that a city girl like me would find her calling amidst flower fields and gardens, but I can't deny a history of generations of land stewardship & farming engrained in my DNA.

Having my hands in the soil brought me healing and ignited my passion for sustainable gardening and horticulture. In 2012 I started Sweet Earth Co. which specializes in growing specialty cut flowers and herbs, and in garden and floral design and installations.

Our botanical art extends into the hospitality space. In 2018, together with my husband, Adrian, we opened Sea Street Inn, a boutique bed & breakfast in Cape Cod. The inn includes a floral art gallery designed and curated by Xenia.

I look forward to sharing my passion as we work together to create a look and space for your wedding, special event or home — customized to your personality, lifestyle, and budget.
