Bouquet Subscription FAQ

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions we receive about our subscription program.

What does it mean to be a bouquet subscription member?

As a member, you pay for a “share” of our weekly flower harvest with the knowledge that each week will differ due to weather and seasonal availability. You will also be asked to pick up your bouquets weekly on the appropriate day and time. Then you enjoy a season of fresh flowers!

How can I join?

Visit our online shop to view availability. We offer memberships for our full growing season, along with shorter-term options.

I have signed up! When will it begin?

Our growing season depends so much on Mother Nature. We certainly wish she was more predicable. If the dates change from those listed at registration we will send out pick-up dates via the email you provided during purchase.

As the date gets closer you will receive your first reminder e-mail.

Where and when do I pick up my flowers?

Our flowers are harvested, bunched, and available for you to pick up Tuesday, Friday or Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at our big red barn (at the end of the driveway)

Sweet Earth Co.
20A Salem Road
Pound Ridge, NY 10576
9am-3pm TUES, FRI & SAT

Before the season starts, you will choose the day that will work best for you for the entirety of your seasonal subscription. Knowing which day you are coming ensures that your blooms are ready and at their freshest.

I’d like to give a share as a gift, what should I do?

How sweet! There’s really no better gift than a weekly flower subscription. We’re happy to facilitate such thoughtfulness, and emphasize that your recipient should be located close enough to Pound Ridge to pick-up their share every week.

When you add a membership to your cart, we prompt you with a form where you can fill us in on all the details.

I have a dinner party or event to attend. Can I get extra flowers for it?

Sure! We are happy to create arrangements or bouquets for all your needs, depending on seasonal availability. As soon as you’re aware of your additional flower needs, please reach out to Xenia by email with your request.

Once confirmed, an invoice will be created and your additional blooms will be ready for you to pick-up along with your CSA share for the week.

I’m going out of town! Can I change my pick up day?

If you will be out of town during a pick-up day, we encourage you to spread some joy through flowers, by gifting that week’s bouquet to a friend or neighbor. Due to our volume of members, we are unfortunately, not able to move dates, times or accommodate missed pick-ups.

As a Bouquet Subscription member you are responsible for picking up the flowers within 24 hours of the specified date. If you are sending someone else to pick up your flowers, they can provide your name to the staff at the farm or partner pick up location. Alternatively, we are happy to donate your bouquet to the local senior citizens program Neighbor-2-Neighbor, if you’d rather.

Flowers are held until Saturday evening, latest.

Can I pick what flowers I have in my subscription?

Weekly subscription bouquets are grower/designer’s choice, as we are tied to Mother Nature and all of her whims. However, we have created a gallery called What We’re Growing to share an anticipated list of what we should have available at different times of the year.

How do you communicate with members?

All of our communication with share members is via email. Please make sure that you have added xenia@sweetearthco.com to your mailing list so that your reminders about pickups do not end up in the SPAM folder.
