Announcing our Fall/Holiday 2019 Wine & Design Workshops!

Last year we launched our first-ever Wine & Design Workshops. They were such a success; read below at what some of the participants from last year’s workshops had to say. So much beauty was created; all while sipping on cocktails & enjoying good conversation.

I enjoyed all the workshops that Xenia offered at her beautiful studio. Love the hands on experience and the inspiration I leave with.
— Nury M.
My sister in law and I attended one of Xenia’s workshops to learn how to design floral centerpieces for our Thanksgiving dinner table. Not only did we have a wonderful evening meeting new friends, but our families were in awe of our creations! Can’t wait until the next one!

Sweet Earth Co. in-studio floral design workshop featuring no-foam floral mechanics, and wine!

Workshops are taught by Xenia, Sweet Earth’s owner and lead designer, and class size is kept small for participants to get lots of one-on-one instruction, and everyone has enough time to socialize. For those of you who joined us last year, we look forward to having you join us again — 2019 workshops cover new topics, new materials and new centerpieces.

We are kicking off our 2019 Wine & Design series with a dahlia workshop because who doesn’t love dahlias!?

Growing & Designing with Dahlias
Thursday, September 19 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Dahlias are the star of the late-summer garden. There are so many dahlia varieties — from ball to dinner plate varieties, and in a multitude of colors. At Sweet Earth Farm we are growing over 75 different dahlia varieties. Come learn how to grow, harvest and design with these beauties (buckets and buckets of them), all while sipping on cocktails & enjoying good conversation.

Xenia will discuss how to plant, divide and store dahlia tubers and how to best harvest stems. She will also show you how to use color and texture to create a desired aesthetic and share tips for creating an organic, garden-inspired shape in your design.

The best part — you get to take your centerpiece home in a beautiful vessel. All flowers and foliage are locally and sustainably grown. $150 Sign up HERE!

Holiday Centerpieces
Thursday, November 21, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Come join us for an evening of table styling & holiday inspiration. A memorable dinner is as much about the ambience as it is about the food. At this workshop you will learn tips on designing an inviting table and create your own holiday-inspired centerpiece that you get to take home. $125 Sign up HERE!

Wreaths: Grown & Gathered
Thursday, December 5, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Learn how to make bespoke, nature-inspired wreaths with foraged material, dried florals, moss, succulents and air plants. Each participant will get to take home their handmade floral wreath. $125 Sign up HERE!

Workshops are held in our design studio. Details and directions provided when you register.

Looking forward to seeing you at a workshop!
